Getting Acquainted & Inspired
The Conceptual Design Phase includes our initial call or in—person meeting. We gain an understanding of the spaces to be addressed and any budget guidelines. Your input gives us direction for both functional and aesthetic desires.
Next, we’ll prepare floor plans and inspiration boards and present those to you in a subsequent meeting. Initial selections will be proposed to confirm the design direction.
Once we’re aligned, we invite our trusted vendors and trade partners to quote what is required to bring our vision to reality. This results in a Project Investment Budget for feedback and approval.
Detailed Design
Planning: The Dream Becomes Reality
The Detailed Design Phase is where we roll up our sleeves, sharpen our pencils, and pull out our calculators.
We’ll select each item, draw relevant elevations and 2-D views, and prepare furnishing drawings required for custom fabrication. We procure written quotes and confirm actual costs against the Project Investment Budget.
At our Detailed Design Meeting, you see the entire picture of your personalized plan. We review the details of each item for your approval, with coordinating samples when available. Final budgets are approved by room, and payment is collected to begin purchasing.
Purchasing & Execution
Things Get Messy Before They Get Pretty
The Purchasing & Execution Phase sometimes feels like organized chaos. This is the hardest phase because it requires patience. Orders are placed, construction begins, and timelines are estimated. There may be delays. Okay, plan for a delay or two. It’s a good time to go on vacation.
We work with all relevant parties to ensure the project is moving forward in a timely manner and being executed according to the design. We are in regular contact to ensure all your questions and concerns are addressed.
When furnishing your space, all items will be delivered and installed at one time. We live for the reveal and the opportunity to see the completed space through your eyes for the first time!
Care & Maintenance
It’s a Wrap!
Following the reveal, we provide documentation for the care and maintenance of your completed project.
We identify any deficiencies in the form of a punch list and resolve any deficiencies for items we sourced.
We’ll style and photograph the finished space, while you beam with pride over the transformation that is uniquely yours.
